Powerful Questions for Leaders, no. 21

What do you do to ensure that the feedback you gather is meaningful, timely and honest?

Feedback is a crucial tool in the workplace, especially for leaders who tend to be removed from the day-to-day work where real observations and opinions might be shared more openly.

Given this situation, what can we, as leaders, do to make giving us feedback easier and, dare I say it, even rewarding for the person delivering it?

What has worked for you in the past? What would you like to try now? Who do you know that’s really good at asking for, receiving, and acting on feedback? What do they do that you’d like to emulate?

Please share your experiences and recognize your mentors so we can all learn from one another.
