Agile is not dead. But human decency is on life support.


Layoffs despite a thriving economy, poor performance reviews and frozen wages despite amazing contributions, a return to office mandate that has resulted in no increase in profits, and the continuing pressure to deliver MORE, MORE, MORE even though productivity is at record highs.

The workplace has been growing more and more toxic for years, but the pace at which toxicity is increasing has multiplied many times over as of late.

When will the reasonable people in the room stand up and say something? This is a crucial moment for leaders. Will you shrink back and do the bidding of a corporate machine that will just as happily spit you out for a 25-cent increase in the stock price? Or will you do what’s right for your business, your people, and humanity as a whole?
