The tech industry is imploding. More and more of us are competing for fewer and fewer jobs, jobs that are less lucrative, more boring, more stressful, and even more toxic. On top of all of this, jobs that once permitted us to contribute something positive to the world now routinely ask us to ignore our moral compass. It’s time we all take a hard look at the work we are doing, how it’s serving us and our communities, and decide what we’d like to be doing instead.
In this interactive workshop, a long-time tech worker and certified career coach (that’s me!) will guide you through the steps necessary to find your path to a new and rewarding career. We’ll identify our strongest and most transferable skills, uncover what we really hope to get out of our relationship with our work, and then look for new careers in different industries that match our abilities and desires.
You’ll leave with a clear plan of action for your “Life after Tech”.
